What Can Our Amazing Future Look Like?

Upgrading Earth
Aproximate Reading Time: 14 Minutes

Hello dear reader and welcome to this introductory blog of mine. My name is Jamie and I’ll be your host for the time you’re here and whenever you come to visit me. I have to say it really pleases me you’ve decided to spend this time with me.

This introductory message is my first foray into online blogging. I have been nervous to post this first one. Even though I now have written a book called “Upgrading Earth,” blogging and these shorter types of writing are different. I feel it opens up a whole new world of putting myself out there. It’s a vulnerable feeling that comes when beginning to share my thoughts, ideas and the hope that exists in me for humanity and the planet.

For an introductory blog, I was thinking, where do I start? I have a ton of ideas and topics in my heart and mind to write about. Therefore, I would like to share more about the direction of these blogs. What you can expect when reading them and as well what I hope to achieve through it all. I guess you could say, my greatest hope is that somehow what I write, and share will just add value and goodness to your life. It will open up a perspective on the world and life around us that maybe you have or haven’t ever heard before.

I hope it will then help you live fully in the present, understanding what you can do now to also prepare for the role you could have in the future. As it’s a long, long future ahead for all of us. What do you think? I know this seems like a tall order, but I’m willing to give it a go, if you’re interested?

A Starting Point to this Website

This entire website is about one thing, or mostly about one thing. It’s about looking at the world from the perspective of the question “what is the practical purpose of planet earth.” For me, if we can determine there’s a purpose for the planet, then it helps us to better seek and understand the purpose for each one of us on this earth.

This is the entire premise of my book. It’s about the journey I’ve taken when asking this question and trying to gain some understanding, as to if there really is an answer to this intriguing thought. I’ve found in the data out there, there is a solid foundational plan in place for the planet. There’s absolutely a plan to give us an amazing hope and joy for what’s ahead of us as humanity.

The plan is far more amazing than I could ever have imagined.

As I write in my book, I’ll paraphrase myself:

There is a unique and exclusive invite taking place right now in the world. There is an invitation to join a team. A team which will lead and drive the coming upgrade and restoration of the planet and the universe. It’s a specific invitation available to us only during our lifetime. Once we die, we lose forever the invitation and its specific rewards. It doesn’t mean our purpose ends; it just means we have missed the greatest reward of all. The question is, do we want to take this invite into consideration. Do we want to pursue the greatest reward of all time?

This website and my book are my little contributions in trying to add some hope and joy into the world. I think no matter what your background is or your belief system. If you take into consideration this invitation and the overall plan, I believe what follows is an amazing seed of joy, peace and hope entering into your heart, and your life. I believe you’ll never be the same again. It transforms you from the inside out.

Looking at the World Around Us

Since I have launched my book, it’s been a mixed journey. I’ve experienced some unpleasantries along the way. Mostly though, I’ve had people say they’ve never thought about this question before. “What is the practical purpose of earth?” I think it’s because through evolutionary theory, there is no answer to such a question. It’s all just randomness and purposeless.

How should we accept such a statement? What is life if there is no purpose to any of it at all? That has always been one of my major questions. What do you think? Do you also think about this at all or not?

Personally, I’ve learned a lot lately. I keep learning. I knew the world was complex, but writing a book opened me up to realize how incredibly diverse we all are. And here, I mean in terms of diversity of thought first and foremost. Humanity is full of an amazingly complex web of perceptions and thoughts about the world around us. There seriously are no two people alike that see the world the same way. Even if two people have the same foundational backgrounds. Their perceptions of the world can be quite varied. It’s all down to how the events of our lives affect us along the way. When we think about this, it actually becomes extremely deep, yet also, I find it uniquely beautiful.

In 2021 we have approximately 7.75 billion people on the planet. The World Atlas states that for all time, we’ve had approximately 108 billion people that have ever lived. That’s astonishing when we think about it. Don’t you think?

I’d like to highlight truly how complex the world is in terms of the perspectives of these 108 billion people. And the current 7.75 billion people living on the planet today.

Wikipedia states “According to some estimates, there are roughly 4,200 religions, churches, denominations, religious bodies, faith groups, tribes, cultures, movements, ultimate concerns, which at some point in the future will be countless.”

This number is quite significant. Though, I think they mix up something here. If this included full Christian denominations, it would probably reach upwards of 50,000. I think within this number we can look at some further elements as follows.

There are approximately 22 top tier branches of political ideologies in the world. These are:

  • Anarchism, Authoritarianism, Christian Democracy, Communitarianism, Communism, Conservativism, Corporatism, Democracy, Environmentalism, Fascism, Identity Politics, Liberalism, Libertarianism, Nationalism, Populism, Progressivism, Religio-Political Ideologies, Satirical and Anti-Politics, Social Democracy, Socialism, Syndicalism and finally, Transhumanist Politics.
  • Within each of these top tier branches, we can say there are on an average six lower-level tiers. This means we come to around 132 variations of political ideologies. It doesn’t seem like a lot, yet I find it astonishing when I see it this way. What do you think?

In Christianity, there are approximately 22 top tier branches, as stated by Wikipedia. These are:

  • Roman Catholic, Protestants (making up Adventist, Anabaptist, Anglican, Baptist, Evangelical, Holiness, Lutheran, Methodist, Moravian, Pentecostal, Quaker and Reformed), Eastern Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, Oriental Orthodox, Church of the East (Nestorian), Jehovah’s Witness, Latter-Day Saint, Iglesia ni Christo.
  • Within these top tiers, they say there are around 41,000 denominations of Christianity. I find sometimes I just can’t wrap my head around this number.

Within Islam there seems to be approximately 8 top tier branches. These being:

  • Sunni, Shi’ite, Sufis, Baha’is, Ahmadiyyas, Druze, Alevis, and `Alawis.
  • There seems on average 5 lower-level tiers to each of the top levels, which means we come to about 40 different variances in belief or ideas of belief even within Islam.

I could go on and on, but I won’t. It’s honestly pretty amazing to look at these numbers. We can really see how truly diverse in thought the world is. In reality, I’ve always felt that true diversity begins with the mind and nowhere else.

Does a Consensus Really Exist?

You may wonder why I share the above? Well, I think it shows us that within the world there really is no such thing as a “consensus.” Its certain within various sub-groups or within certain regions of the world we can have consensus. Globally, however, this just isn’t the case. I think sometimes actually trying to create consensus creates an environment for oppression. Robbing people of their freedoms to simply disagree with one another.

Within the political ideologies around the world, there really is no such thing as consensus. Which one is the best fit for society? Certainly, there are some that have proven themselves to be better than the others, whereas others time and time again show us how much of a complete and utter failure they have been. Interestingly, those that have failed still seem to be pushed as though they really could work one day. I actually believe more often than we might like to note, political ideologies often divide us far more than we even realize.

Within the world’s religions, we also see such a lack of consensus and often division. I find it interesting that if anybody tells us that there is consensus, it just isn’t the truth. The numbers themselves reveal we are far from any sort of consensus here.

From my perspective, I think it’s an interesting consideration to realize that consensus isn’t as fixed as we might like to think. What are your thoughts on this?

The Focus Point of Upgrading Earth

Since having written my book, I’ve entered a new level of respect and love for you as my fellow human.

What I’ve learned is nobody can really tell another person what they should or shouldn’t believe. As much as we would like to. As much as we may think we have the right to it. Any specific journey into truth requires exactly that, that it be a journey each one of us needs to take. That journey may look vastly different for each one of us. But in the end, our end destination is the same for all of us. We all will enter into truth through one single door.

With Upgrading Earth and this blog, all I desire is to share what I’ve discovered and learned myself. I submit it for your review, to consider the things I share and how I see it from my perspective. You can then choose how you want to use it for your own life. If you think it’s all rubbish, so be it. If it changes your life or touches your heart, amazing! I don’t need to convince anybody of anything. Only to share the great hope and joy I have for all of creation and the future of this glorious planet I call home.

Now in sharing all of this I must also say, my world view comes from a place of having found what I believe is an answer to this question “what is the practical purpose for planet earth.” My world view stems now more than ever from a Christian Biblical one. I see the bible not as a religious book, but outright being the blueprint revealing the plans for the universe. It’s really the only place I’ve found an answer to my questions. A blueprint that reveals a practical future for the planet and a glorious plan for humanity. It leaves me speechless every day when I think about it. It’s a plan that I see still entails —if you can imagine— 43,000 years still ahead for us. All in relation to the laws of time. And yes, there are laws to time. Time is a real thing, not an illusion.

If you’re reading this and you come from any of the backgrounds that fit within the 4,200 religious, spiritual and ideological traditions. I would just like to invite you to consider my book, and any future blogs posts I share on this website. I really think no matter what your world view is and background, my focus is still very much going to be on linking all my thoughts and ideas or opinions to the future upgrade and restoration of the planet. I believe this is something we all can have an interest in and a desire to want the best for humanity and the planet. I think you’ll find many of the topics I have on my mind to write about will be quite interesting, and worthy of consideration.

It’s all about the invite that exists now to take part in this coming upgrade and restoration of the planet and universe. And what it means to prepare for it now as we live out our lives every single day until that time comes.

If you are reading this and you’re a Christian. My friend, you might ask what Christian world view? As there are about 41,000 different denominations, I would simply answer you at this point in time by inviting you to read my book with consideration and an open heart. It really ultimately connects to what’s written here in Revelation 21:1-6a (ESV).

1 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more. 2 And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God.

4 He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.” 5 And he who was seated on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” Also he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.” 6 And he said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end.

The imagery of this is amazing wouldn’t you say? Can you imagine for one minute a world without mourning, crying, pain and suffering? To know that one day all of that will go away, even death will be destroyed. I think no matter what any persons background is, the above statements are really worth a consideration to at least check these things out more in depth and discover what this means for each and every one of us personally, don’t you think?

I’m Excited About the Future, are You?

I would like to invite you to join the newsletter in order to receive updates when new blogs come out. I would also like to ask for your patience, kindness and respect. Nobody has to agree with me or accept what I write or share, but if you don’t agree, please, no need for hate. Sometimes, traditional beliefs will be challenged. I think that’s also the fun part of developing towards what is an understanding of the world around us.

Just respect that these come from my own life experiences and are also the things I feel in my heart to share about, which give me a great hope and expectation for the years and millennia ahead. And when I say millennia, I mean the coming 43,000 years. It gives me purpose not only for the future but also for the present and fills me with a love and respect for the people around me, which I never had before until now. I look forward to all that is coming on this website and for us as humanity.

Cheers to all from beautiful Vienna,

Jamie
